Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Renshen Guipi pills (also known as Ren Shen Gui Pi Wan or Ginseng Guipi Pills) are a traditional Chinese patent medicine formulated as a multi-herb botanical preparation, typically in the form of honey-coated pills. The formula is traditionally used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to tonify Qi and blood, strengthen the Spleen, and nourish the Heart. It is indicated for symptoms associated with deficiency of both Qi and blood, such as palpitations, insomnia, forgetfulness, poor appetite, fatigue, a sallow complexion, and chronic bleeding disorders (like metrorrhagia or blood in the stool) resulting from Spleen Qi deficiency. The preparation contains a complex mixture of ten herbal ingredients, including 'Panax ginseng', 'Astragalus membranaceus', 'Atractylodes macrocephala', 'Wolfiporia cocos', 'Glycyrrhiza uralensis', 'Angelica sinensis', 'Polygala tenuifolia', 'Saussurea costus', 'Dimocarpus longan', and 'Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa'.
