Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RenuDermCell is an autologous dermal fibroblast cell therapy developed by Cell Tech Pharmed in collaboration with the Royan Institute and Barakat Pharmaceutical Group. It consists of cultured autologous human dermal fibroblasts isolated from a patient's post-auricular skin biopsy, which are expanded ex vivo and then administered via intradermal injection. RenuDermCell is approved in Iran for the treatment of facial wrinkles, acne scars, and atrophic skin lesions following skin trauma. The therapy works by replenishing the dermal fibroblast population, which in turn synthesizes extracellular matrix components, primarily collagen, to restore skin structure and elasticity.
