Overview

Reozalimab (IBI318) is a first-in-class recombinant IgG1 bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously target programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1). Developed by Innovent Biologics in collaboration with Eli Lilly, it functions as a checkpoint inhibitor to restore and enhance T-cell mediated anti-tumor immune responses. By blocking both the receptor and its ligand, reozalimab aims to provide superior efficacy compared to single-target monoclonal antibodies. It is primarily being investigated for the treatment of advanced malignancies, including small cell lung cancer (SCLC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and nasopharyngeal carcinoma, often in combination with chemotherapy.
