Replikins Blocker-Vaccine (also known as Synthetic Replikins Blocker-Vaccine) is a synthetic peptide-based vaccine platform developed by Replikins, Ltd. The vaccine candidates are composed of synthetic genomic-based peptides designed to match conserved "Replikin" sequences found in viral genomes, which are statistically associated with rapid viral replication. By targeting these specific sequences, the vaccine is intended to block viral replication and induce protective immunity. The manufacturing process utilizes solid-phase peptide synthesis, allowing for rapid production (approximately seven days) and a freeze-dried final product that does not require refrigeration. Various formulations have been developed, including a trivalent candidate for Zika, Dengue, and Japanese Encephalitis, as well as candidates for Influenza (H5N1, H1N1) and SARS.
