Overview

REPOMIA is a recombinant human erythropoietin alpha (rHuEPO) developed by Biokindle Lifesciences. It contains epoetin alfa as the active ingredient and functions as an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA). By binding to the erythropoietin receptor on erythroid progenitor cells in the bone marrow, it stimulates their division and differentiation into mature red blood cells. REPOMIA is indicated for the treatment of anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in patients both on and not on dialysis, as well as anemia resulting from zidovudine therapy in HIV-infected patients and chemotherapy in cancer patients. It is supplied as a solution for injection in pre-filled syringes.
