Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Reprograbetes is a protein-based regenerative medicine candidate developed by Qurgen for the treatment of diabetes. Currently in Phase 2 clinical development, the therapeutic is designed to induce the in vivo reprogramming of pancreatic cells into functional, insulin-producing beta cells. By leveraging a proprietary protein delivery platform, Reprograbetes aims to restore endogenous glycemic control, potentially providing a disease-modifying or curative solution that reduces or eliminates the need for chronic exogenous insulin administration in patients with diabetes.
