Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The reRNA-EGF vaccine is an RNA-based therapeutic vaccine developed by Jiangsu Leeway Biological Technology Co.Ltd. It is designed to treat non-small cell lung cancer by inducing an immune response against Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF). The vaccine aims to generate antibodies that target and neutralize circulating EGF, thereby preventing it from binding to its receptor, Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR), on cancer cells. This mechanism is intended to inhibit EGF-mediated signaling pathways that promote tumor cell proliferation, survival, and metastasis.
