Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ReRx-001 + incretin analogs is a combination therapy under development by ReRx Therapeutics for the treatment of obesity and metabolic diseases. The regimen consists of ReRx-001, an orally bioavailable small molecule that modulates pathways involved in energy expenditure and homeostasis, administered alongside injectable incretin analogs such as GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonists (e.g., semaglutide or tirzepatide). This combination approach is designed to achieve synergistic metabolic effects by pairing the energy-expenditure-enhancing properties of ReRx-001 with the appetite-suppressing and glucose-regulating mechanisms of incretin-based therapies. The program is currently in the early discovery stage.
