Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**resecabtagene autoleucel + cyclophosphamide + fludarabine** is a therapeutic regimen consisting of resecabtagene autoleucel (rese-cel), an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy targeting CD19, combined with the lymphodepleting agents cyclophosphamide and fludarabine as a preconditioning regimen[2][3][4][5]. Rese-cel employs a 4-1BB costimulatory domain and aims to transiently and deeply deplete CD19-positive B cells, thereby resetting the immune system in patients with autoimmune diseases[2][3][5]. Cyclophosphamide and fludarabine are used prior to CAR T cell infusion to facilitate engraftment and expansion of the administered cells[3]. This combination is being evaluated primarily in autoimmune diseases where B cell activity drives pathology, such as systemic lupus erythematosus, lupus nephritis, dermatomyositis, myositis, systemic sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, and multiple sclerosis[1][3][4][5]. The regimen is under development by Cabaletta Bio[2][3][5].
