Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RespiSure is a veterinary swine vaccine consisting of a whole-cell inactivated Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae bacterin formulated with the Amphigen adjuvant to enhance and prolong the immune response. It is used in pigs and sows as an aid in preventing or reducing the severity of enzootic (chronic) pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, a key pathogen in the porcine respiratory disease complex. By inducing active immunity against M. hyopneumoniae, RespiSure reduces lung colonization and shedding, thereby helping to control clinical disease and improve herd respiratory health and performance.
