Overview

Restem-X is an umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal progenitor cell (UMPC) therapy being developed by Restem for the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA). As a cell-based regenerative medicine, it utilizes the anti-inflammatory and tissue-reparative properties of mesenchymal progenitor cells to potentially address joint degeneration and associated pain. The therapy is designed to be administered locally to the affected joint to promote tissue repair and modulate the local immune environment. Restem-X is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
