Restylane Eyelight is a clear, injectable dermal filler composed of non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (HA) crosslinked with 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE), and contains 0.3% lidocaine as a local anesthetic. It is specifically designed for the correction of infraorbital hollows (depressed, sunken, or hollow areas under the eyes) in adults over 21 years old. The product uses NASHA technology to create a gel that provides volume restoration and hydration to the delicate under-eye area without excessive water retention or swelling. Its mechanism involves physically filling tissue space and attracting moisture via HA’s hydrophilic properties, resulting in immediate improvement in under-eye shadows and hollowness. The inclusion of lidocaine reduces discomfort during injection[2][6][7][9][10]. Results typically last up to 12 months.
