Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Restylane Skinboosters is an aesthetic injectable treatment developed by Galderma designed to improve skin quality through deep hydration. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that focus on adding volume or contouring specific facial features, Skinboosters utilize stabilized hyaluronic acid (20mg/ml) to enhance skin elasticity, smoothness, and firmness. The product employs Galderma's proprietary SB-NASHA (Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid of Non-Animal origin with Skinbooster technology) technology, which ensures the hyaluronic acid remains in the skin significantly longer than non-stabilized forms. It is indicated for the treatment of fine lines, wrinkles, photodamaged skin, and dryness on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. Many formulations also include 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride to improve patient comfort during the procedure by providing local anesthesia.
