Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Restylane Sub Q is a dermal filler composed of non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) gel, specifically designed for deep subcutaneous or supraperiostal injection to restore facial volume and enhance contours. Developed by Q-Med (a subsidiary of Galderma), it features larger gel particles (approximately 1,000 particles/mL) compared to other products in the Restylane family, providing robust structural support. It is indicated for aesthetic procedures such as cheek and chin augmentation, midface rejuvenation, and the correction of facial asymmetry, as well as for medical conditions like HIV-associated facial lipoatrophy. The effects are non-permanent, typically lasting 12 months or longer.
