Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Retaron Makula Omega 3 is an oral dietary supplement developed and marketed by URSAPHARM Arzneimittel GmbH, specifically formulated to support macular health and maintain normal vision. The product contains a combination of omega-3 fatty acids (docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid) derived from concentrated fish oil, the macular carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, aronia berry extract (*Aronia melanocarpa*), vitamins C and E, and the trace elements zinc and selenium. These ingredients function synergistically to protect retinal cells from oxidative stress and provide essential nutritional support for the eyes. Formerly known simply as Retaron, the product was rebranded in September 2025 without changes to its established formulation.
