Retifanlimab + pemetrexed + carboplatin is an investigational combination regimen for the treatment of cancers, notably non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Retifanlimab is a monoclonal antibody targeting programmed death-1 (PD-1), while pemetrexed is a folate antimetabolite chemotherapy agent, and carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic. The regimen is designed to leverage the immune checkpoint blockade of retifanlimab with the cytotoxic and antimetabolite activities of chemotherapy to enhance anticancer effects.
