Drug intelligence / Profile preview
REV-001 is an oncolytic virus therapy currently in the IND-enabling stage of development by HuangShi Feiyun Pharma, a subsidiary or partner of Grand Pharma. The therapeutic is based on a vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) platform, engineered to selectively infect and replicate within tumor cells, leading to direct cell lysis (oncolysis). This process releases tumor-associated antigens and induces a local inflammatory response, which serves to stimulate systemic antitumor immunity. REV-001 is primarily being developed for the treatment of colorectal cancer.
