Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Revised Shensu Huxin decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine. It is formulated based on the therapeutic principle of "regulating the spleen and protecting the heart" (Tiao Pi Hu Xin) specifically for the treatment of stable angina pectoris. The decoction is intended to improve exercise tolerance and alleviate clinical symptoms in patients with coronary heart disease by addressing underlying TCM patterns of spleen deficiency and heart blood stasis. It has been evaluated in multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials in China as an adjunct to standard medical therapy for patients with stable angina class II–III.
