REVO-U is an allogeneic, "off-the-shelf" CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell) therapy platform developed by Wondercel Biotechnology. The platform utilizes gene-editing technology to modify T cells derived from healthy donors, specifically targeting the elimination of the T-cell receptor (TCR) to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and the disruption of Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) molecules to minimize immune-mediated rejection by the recipient's immune system. By enabling the mass production of standardized cell products, REVO-U aims to provide a more accessible and cost-effective alternative to patient-specific autologous CAR-T therapies, which are often limited by complex logistics and variable cell quality in heavily pre-treated patients.
