Overview

REVTx-100 is an experimental immunomodulatory therapy in early-stage development for the prevention and treatment of infection, including antibiotic-resistant infections, burn infections, postoperative infections, sepsis, and urinary tract infections. It is being developed by Revelation Biosciences. REVTx-100 acts as a Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) agonist, aiming to stimulate and reprogram the innate immune response to provide protection against infection. The drug has been tested in healthy volunteers in a Phase 1 clinical study, where it demonstrated appropriate tolerance and pharmacologic biomarker activity, with dose-dependent immune reprogramming effects[2][5][8][9].
