Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**revyve Antimicrobial Wound Gel Spray** is a non-aerosol, thermo-reversible topical wound-care medical device developed by Kane Biotech. It is a sprayable hydrogel formulation incorporating polyhexanide as the antimicrobial active ingredient with Kane's coactiv+ biofilm-disrupting technology and a poloxamer-based thermogelling carrier. On application, the formulation transitions into an adherent gel that supports a moist wound environment while reducing wound microbial burden and disrupting wound-associated biofilms. It is intended for management of burns, large-surface-area wounds, ulcers, and other acute or chronic dermal wounds, including difficult-to-access wounds. The product is FDA 510(k)-cleared and licensed by Health Canada as a Class II medical device.
