The product utilizes two proprietary technologies: coactiv+, a biofilm-destabilizing formula, and DispersinB, a recombinant enzyme (glycoside hydrolase). DispersinB specifically targets and cleaves poly-beta-1,6-N-acetylglucosamine (PNAG), a critical structural polysaccharide that holds bacterial biofilms together.
