Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Reyanning Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation used primarily for treating respiratory tract infections, including the common cold, acute bronchitis, tonsillitis, and pneumonia, particularly those characterized by wind-heat syndrome. The formulation typically consists of four herbal ingredients: *Taraxacum mongolicum* (Pugongying), *Polygonum cuspidatum* (Huzhang), *Scutellaria baicalensis* (Huangqin), and *Pteris multifida* (Fengweicao). It functions by clearing heat, detoxifying the body, and cooling the blood. In clinical studies, it is often used as a standard-of-care control for evaluating new respiratory TCM treatments, such as Bairui granules. It is widely marketed in China for its anti-inflammatory and anti-infective properties.
