Overview

rFla-MBP is an intranasal recombinant flagellin subunit vaccine developed to target Campylobacter. The flagellin component acts as a potent immune stimulant, primarily by activating Toll-like receptor 5 (TLR5). This activation triggers both innate and adaptive immune responses, leading to the production of cytokines, chemokines, and antigen-specific antibodies. The vaccine aims to induce systemic and mucosal immunity to prevent diarrhea caused by Campylobacter.
