Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RG-CLDN18.2 (also known as CB CAR-NK182) is an investigational cord blood-derived chimeric antigen receptor natural killer (CAR-NK) cell therapy developed by Hangzhou RonGu Biotechnology. The therapy utilizes a lentivirus-transduced, nanobody-based CAR to target Claudin-18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein highly expressed in gastric and pancreatic cancers. By directing NK cells specifically to CLDN18.2-expressing tumor cells, RG-CLDN18.2 is designed to induce targeted tumor cell lysis. It is currently in Phase 1/IIT clinical development for the treatment of gastric cancer and pancreatic cancer.
