RG002-04

RG002-04 is an investigational mRNA-based therapeutic vaccine developed by RinuaGene Biotechnology (also known as Ruiji Biotech) for the treatment of Human Papillomavirus (HPV)-related conditions. The vaccine is specifically designed to target persistent HPV infections, high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL), and HPV-associated cancers. Utilizing mRNA technology, RG002-04 delivers genetic sequences encoding HPV-specific antigens—typically the E6 and E7 oncoproteins—into the patient's cells. These cells then produce the viral proteins, which are presented to the immune system to trigger a robust, targeted T-cell response aimed at identifying and destroying HPV-infected or malignant cells. The candidate is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to determine its safety, immunogenicity, and therapeutic efficacy.
