Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RGB-02 is a biosimilar of pegfilgrastim developed to prevent chemotherapy-induced neutropenia, particularly in patients with breast cancer receiving myelosuppressive chemotherapy. Pegfilgrastim is a long-acting, pegylated form of recombinant human granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), which stimulates the production of neutrophils from the bone marrow. RGB-02 has been developed and evaluated against the reference product Neulasta, demonstrating therapeutic equivalence in efficacy and safety endpoints in randomized, double-blind, phase 3 clinical trials[1][2][5][6].
