Overview

RGB9065 is an allogeneic islet cell therapy being developed by Hangzhou Reprogenix Bioscience for the treatment of diabetes. As a cell replacement therapy, it involves the transplantation of allogeneic islet (beta) cells to restore endogenous insulin production and physiological glucose regulation. Unlike autologous therapies, RGB9065 uses donor-derived cells, which may allow for a more standardized and scalable treatment approach. The program is currently in the preclinical and IND-enabling stage.
