RGD-decorated curcumin is an experimental **targeted liposomal curcumin nanomedicine** in which curcumin is encapsulated in a liposomal nanoparticle whose surface is modified with an RGD peptide ligand to enhance binding to integrin-expressing cells, especially tumors with elevated **integrin alpha V beta 3** expression. The intended mechanism is dual: the **RGD moiety** promotes selective tumor-cell or tumor-vasculature targeting and uptake, while **curcumin** provides the pharmacologic payload with antiproliferative and pro-apoptotic effects observed in preclinical models. Reported research use has been limited to academic, preclinical studies in oncology and related experimental settings, including breast cancer and prostate cancer cell models, and there is no evidence of an approved product, standardized commercial developer, or established brand name for this formulation.
