RGT-075

RGT-075 is an orally bioavailable, once-daily small molecule full agonist of the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R), discovered and developed by Regor Therapeutics for the treatment of metabolic diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Unlike injectable GLP-1 peptide drugs, RGT-075 offers a convenient oral administration route. In clinical trials, it has demonstrated statistically significant placebo-adjusted weight loss (5% at 12 weeks) in adults with obesity or overweight and clinically meaningful reductions in HbA1c for patients with type 2 diabetes.
