RH125 is a personalized mRNA-based tumor vaccine designed to target patient-specific neoantigens in advanced solid tumors. Developed by Stemirna Therapeutics, the vaccine utilizes mRNA technology to encode unique mutations identified through genomic sequencing of an individual patient's tumor. By delivering these sequences via a lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery system, RH125 aims to elicit a robust and specific T-cell mediated immune response against the cancer cells. It is currently being investigated in clinical trials as a monotherapy and in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors, such as PD-1 blockers, to overcome immune evasion and improve clinical outcomes in patients with locally advanced or metastatic malignancies who have failed or are intolerant to standard treatments.
