Rhea-002

Rhea-002 is a novel broad-spectrum antibacterial small molecule being developed by Rhea Pharmaceuticals, a Singapore-based biopharmaceutical company. Currently in the discovery phase, the compound is designed to target multi-drug resistant (MDR) gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections. It has demonstrated activity against high-priority pathogens including *Neisseria gonorrhoeae*, *Staphylococcus aureus* (including vancomycin-resistant *Staphylococcus aureus* or VRSA), and *Clostridioides difficile*.
