RI-001

RI-001 is an intravenous immune globulin (IVIG) preparation manufactured from pooled plasma of healthy adult donors with high titers of neutralizing antibodies against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). It is designed to provide passive immunity by delivering standardized levels of anti-RSV neutralizing antibody, particularly for immunocompromised patients at risk for severe RSV infection. The drug has been studied in compassionate use and phase II settings, showing that it significantly increases serum RSV-neutralizing antibody titers and may improve clinical outcomes when administered early in the course of infection. RI-001 was developed by ADMA Biologics as a predecessor to their later product, RI-002[3][5][7].
