Overview

Ribrecabtagene autoleucel is an autologous anti-BCMA (B-cell maturation antigen) chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy. It utilizes a humanized single-domain antibody as the antigen-binding domain and employs a lentiviral vector for gene transfer. The therapy is designed to target and eliminate BCMA-expressing malignant plasma cells in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. Ribrecabtagene autoleucel has shown promising results in early clinical trials, with high response rates and manageable safety profiles, including no high-grade cytokine release syndrome or neurotoxicity events reported in initial studies[9]. The product is manufactured at Aurigene Oncology Limited’s CAR-T GMP facility.
