Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RIDE-002 is a preclinical-stage nanobiologic therapeutic being developed by Trained Therapeutix Discovery for the treatment of chronic inflammatory and autoinflammatory diseases. Utilizing the company's proprietary RIDE (Regulating Immunity by DEsigning nanobiologics) platform, RIDE-002 consists of apolipoprotein-based nanoparticles engineered to target myeloid progenitor cells within the bone marrow. The therapeutic mechanism involves 'training' these progenitor cells to dampen the production of pro-inflammatory myeloid cells, thereby addressing the root cause of systemic inflammation. This approach leverages the concept of trained immunity to achieve long-term immunomodulation without the broad immunosuppression associated with conventional therapies.
