RIG-2130 is a preclinical-stage oncolytic virotherapy and gene delivery platform developed by ReIGNITE Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. It utilizes a "gutless" (helper-dependent) adenoviral vector that is entirely devoid of viral genes, a design intended to minimize off-target interactions and immunogenicity while maximizing safety for systemic administration. The vector is engineered using the company's InViroMax directed evolution platform to deliver large therapeutic transgenes (up to approximately 36 kilobases) directly to tumor tissues. RIG-2130 functions as both a direct oncolytic agent and a vehicle for the expression of therapeutic payloads within the tumor microenvironment, and it is optimized for systemic delivery to target solid tumors.
