Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rinosoro is a brand of intranasal saline products developed and marketed by Mantecorp Farmasa in Brazil. The product line includes various formulations such as nasal sprays, drops, and high-volume irrigation devices, with active concentrations of sodium chloride ranging from isotonic (0.9%) to hypertonic (e.g., 3%). Rinosoro acts as a nasal fluidifying agent and mechanical cleanser, facilitating the removal of mucus, allergens, and crusts from the nasal passages. It is indicated for the relief of nasal congestion and obstruction associated with conditions such as the common cold, influenza, rhinitis, and sinusitis, and is also used for post-operative nasal care and daily hygiene. As a non-vasoconstrictor saline solution, it is considered safe for use across all age groups, including infants and children.
