Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ABBV-466 is an investigational, dual-targeting fixed-dose combination therapy developed by AbbVie for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. It combines risankizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody that selectively inhibits the p19 subunit of interleukin-23 (IL-23), with trosunilimab (ABBV-382), a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the alpha-4 beta-7 (α4β7) integrin. By simultaneously blocking IL-23-mediated inflammatory signaling and inhibiting α4β7-mediated trafficking of immune cells to the gut, ABBV-466 is designed to achieve deeper and more sustained disease control than either monotherapy alone. The combination is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials.
