ritobegron

Ritobegron is a selective beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist developed primarily for the treatment of overactive bladder syndrome. It acts by selectively stimulating the beta-3 adrenergic receptors in the bladder detrusor muscle, leading to relaxation of the bladder and increased storage capacity. This mechanism offers potential therapeutic benefits with minimal side effects on other adrenergic receptors. Ritobegron has reached up to phase III clinical trials across all indications but does not appear to be approved or marketed as of now[8][10]. Its high selectivity distinguishes it from other agents in this class.
