Overview

Rituximab + BEAM is a high-dose chemotherapy conditioning regimen used before autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) for patients with relapsed or refractory lymphomas, particularly Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). The regimen combines the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody rituximab with the standard BEAM conditioning protocol (carmustine, etoposide, cytarabine, and melphalan). Rituximab is typically administered at a dose of 375mg/m² one day prior to beginning the standard BEAM high-dose chemotherapy. Studies have shown excellent outcomes for patients receiving this combination, with improved disease-free survival rates compared to BEAM alone in some patient populations.
