Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rituximab + cyclophosphamide + bortezomib + dexamethasone (often abbreviated as R-CyBorD or VRCD) is an investigational combination chemoimmunotherapy regimen. It consists of rituximab (an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody), cyclophosphamide (an alkylating chemotherapy agent), bortezomib (a proteasome inhibitor), and dexamethasone (a corticosteroid). This four-drug regimen has been evaluated in clinical trials, primarily a Phase II study (NCT00711828), for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory low-grade B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas, including follicular lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, and Waldenström macroglobulinemia (lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma).
