Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rituximab + golcadomide is a combination therapy being investigated for the treatment of various types of lymphoma, particularly follicular lymphoma. Golcadomide is a novel CELMoD (Cereblon E3 Ligase Modulator) agent that targets proteins called Ikaros and Aiolos to produce dual immunomodulatory and anti-tumor activity, with preferential distribution to lymphoid organs. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that targets CD20, a protein found on the surface of B cells. The combination has shown promising efficacy in clinical trials for both newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory follicular lymphoma, with durable responses observed.
