rLM-TRP2 is an experimental cancer vaccine consisting of a live-attenuated strain of *Listeria monocytogenes* engineered to express the melanoma-associated antigen tyrosinase-related protein 2 (TRP2). The *Listeria* vector acts as a potent adjuvant by naturally targeting antigen-presenting cells, such as dendritic cells, and escaping into the cytoplasm to trigger robust innate and adaptive immune responses. Upon administration, the vaccine induces the expansion of TRP2-specific CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes and CD4+ helper T cells, which target and eliminate melanoma cells. Additionally, the *Listeria*-based platform is known to modulate the tumor microenvironment by reducing the activity of regulatory T cells (Tregs) and myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs), thereby enhancing the overall anti-tumor efficacy.
