Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RMD-003 is an adjustable gene therapy candidate being developed by Remedium Technologies for the treatment of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and sarcopenia. It utilizes the company's proprietary Prometheus™ platform, which is designed to allow for dose-adjustable expression of therapeutic transgenes, addressing the historical limitation of fixed-dose gene therapies. The candidate is engineered for delivery using either adeno-associated virus (AAV) or lipid nanoparticle (LNP) vectors. RMD-003 is part of the RMD1xx series, which focuses on metabolic and endocrinology indications. As of early 2024, the program is in the discovery stage of development.
