Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RMD-004 is an investigational gene therapy developed by Remedium Technologies for the treatment of viral respiratory infections. It is built upon the company's proprietary Prometheus™ platform, which is designed to provide dose-adjustable gene expression, allowing for precise control over the therapeutic transgene's activity. The therapy is engineered for delivery using either adeno-associated virus (AAV) or lipid nanoparticle (LNP) vectors. RMD-004 is currently in the In Vivo Proof of Concept (POC) stage of development. While the specific genetic payload and molecular targets have not been publicly disclosed, the platform aims to address the limitations of traditional gene therapies by enabling tunable protein production within the patient.
