Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RMD-006 is an experimental gene therapy being developed by Remedium Technologies for the treatment of ischemic stroke. It utilizes the company's proprietary Prometheus™ platform, which is designed to provide adjustable and dose-responsive gene expression. This platform aims to overcome the limitations of traditional gene therapies by allowing for the modulation or reversal of transgene expression. RMD-006 is delivered using either adeno-associated virus (AAV) or lipid nanoparticle (LNP) vectors. While the specific transgene or molecular target has not been publicly disclosed, the therapy is currently in the discovery and in vivo proof-of-concept stages of development.
