Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RMF-004 is a preclinical regenerative medicine formulation developed by Cellontech (formerly Sewon Cellontech) for the treatment of tendon and ligament injuries. As part of Cellontech's Regenerative Medical System (RMS) platform, RMF-004 (also known as RMS-Tendon) is designed as a combination therapy that utilizes autologous tenocytes delivered within a proprietary bio-collagen scaffold (atelocollagen). The formulation is intended for local administration at the site of injury, where the atelocollagen provides a biocompatible structural framework that mimics the natural extracellular matrix. This scaffold supports the adhesion, migration, and proliferation of the delivered tenocytes, facilitating the synthesis of new collagen fibers and the restoration of the mechanical and functional integrity of damaged connective tissues.
