Overview

RN1101 is an allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy that targets both **B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)** and **B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 (CD19)**. It is being developed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell or plasma cell-derived malignant tumors, including **multiple myeloma** and various B-cell lymphomas. The product consists of genetically modified immune cells designed to recognize and eliminate malignant cells expressing CD19 and/or BCMA. The therapy is administered as a single intravenous infusion, and current clinical development is focused on evaluating its safety, feasibility, and preliminary efficacy. The sponsor for the primary clinical trials is Rui Therapeutics, and early phase clinical studies are planned to assess safety and expansion/persistence of the modified cells in humans. RN1101 should not be confused with the unrelated monoclonal antibody RN-1101 targeting TMEM180 for colorectal cancer, which is being developed by RIN Institute in Japan. This entry refers specifically to the **allogenic CD19/BCMA CAR-T cell therapy** developed by Rui Therapeutics for B-cell and plasma cell malignancies[3][5][7][8].
