The RNA-lipoplex prostate cancer vaccine is an investigational mRNA-based immunotherapy developed by Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences. It utilizes an RNA-lipoplex (liposome) delivery system for intravenous administration, encoding three specific prostate cancer-associated antigens: prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP), prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), and six-transmembrane epithelial antigen of the prostate 1 (STEAP1). The vaccine is designed to stimulate a systemic T-cell-mediated immune response against tumor cells expressing these antigens. It is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for the treatment of prostate cancer.
