Overview

RNDO-Program 3 is a bispecific antibody currently in the lead optimization stage of development by Rondo Therapeutics for the treatment of endometrial cancer. The therapeutic is designed to simultaneously engage the CD3 receptor and the CD28 co-stimulatory receptor on T cells, while also binding to an undisclosed tumor-associated antigen (TAA) expressed on endometrial cancer cells. This dual-targeting approach aims to provide both the primary activation signal (Signal 1) and the necessary co-stimulatory signal (Signal 2) to T cells, potentially leading to more robust, sustained, and effective anti-tumor immune responses compared to conventional CD3-based bispecific T-cell engagers. By recruiting and activating T cells directly within the tumor microenvironment, RNDO-Program 3 seeks to overcome immune evasion and improve outcomes for patients with endometrial cancer.
